Touch Blocker: Screen Lock ("the app") is developed by FightTech. This policy explains what the app does with your data.
Permissions
The app asks only for what its features need:
- Display over other apps (
SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW) — to place the touch-blocking layer over the app you are using. The layer ignores touches; it does not read the screen or what you type. - Notifications (
POST_NOTIFICATIONS, Android 13+) — for the Unlock button while the lock is on and the optional Lock buttons while it is off. - Vibrate — for the optional vibration when the lock ends.
- Internet — for ads, Google Play purchases, and anonymous usage and crash statistics.
The app does not use the Android Accessibility service, and it does not ask for your contacts, location, camera, microphone or files.
Data stored on your device
Your zones, zone sets, settings, and your statistics (lock streak, time locked, the calendar of days you locked, and milestone badges) are stored only on your device and are never sent to us or to anyone else. Your PIN, if you set one, is stored only as a salted hash on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes all of it.
Analytics and crash reporting
The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics to understand aggregate usage (for example which screens and features are used) and to fix crashes. These services collect device information such as model, OS version, coarse app-usage events and crash stack traces. This data does not include your screen content, what you type, your zones, your statistics or your PIN, and is processed under Google's Privacy Policy.
Advertising
The free version of the app may show ads served by Google AdMob and Unity Ads. To request and measure an ad, these networks receive your device's advertising ID, IP address and basic device information (model, OS version, country, language). This is declared on the app's Google Play Data safety page. Their handling of that data is governed by Google's advertising policies and the Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in Android Settings → Google → Ads.
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before any ad is requested, and your choice is respected on every later launch.
Removing ads: buying any Premium plan (monthly, yearly or lifetime) turns ads off completely. Purchases are processed by Google Play; we never see your payment details.
What we do not do
- No account, no sign-up, no personal profile.
- We never sell your personal data, and we never send your screen content, what you type, your zones, your statistics or your PIN anywhere.
- Apart from the advertising and analytics identifiers described above, no data is shared with third parties.
Children
The app is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. Parents may use it to lock a screen while a child watches a video, but the app itself collects no information from the child.
Changes
We may update this policy; the effective date above always shows the current version.
